Which Format?
Flash, Windows Media, QuickTime, and/or RealVideo? They are all good. Flash is the most universally used. We offer the On2 VP6 Pro encoding for Flash. In our opinion, Window Media Video is the best quality and the player comes installed on every PC. You could offer a number of formats so your audience can select the one they prefer. -
Video Length?
How long is your video? It should be short enough to hold your audience's attention yet get your message across. The shorter the video the faster it is displayed on the Internet. If it is long you should consider breaking it into segments to make it more viewer friendly. We can edit it prior to creating the video streaming files. -
Quality vs Download time?
What's more important to you, video/audio quality or quick loading display? Does your audience have Broadband access (cable/DSL/company network)? Would two versions of your video file work better? We can create one version for Broadband and a smaller less quality version for dial-up access. Do you want a version to Pod Cast? -
Traffic?
How many viewers do expect at the same time? This will help you decide on an Internet delivery method.-
"Progressive Download"
Commonly used, this is a relatively simple method and only requires a standard website hosting service. Although you are limited to the number of visitors that can view your video at the same time, it simulates true streaming reasonably well. This is the most realistic option for most websites. -
"Internet Streaming"
If you are expecting that your streaming video will have multiple visitors at any one time and/or a lot of viewers, you will need a Streaming Server. This is the more expensive option and will appeal to those with very demanding situations.
